The Student LSCP were particularly interested in the topic of improving services for children with emotional health issues, so when it was suggested that they assist with the promotion and development of Mindmate they jumped at the chance.
Mindmate is a website which provides advice and support for young people who have emotional health issues.
Developed by the NHS, the website also provides information for parents, carers and practitioners to help them to support a young person.
The Student LSCP were asked to test the functionality of Mindmate Me's, a new addition to the website, where users of the site will be able to create virtual characters of themselves.
The group met with the site developers and tested the Mindmate Me's functionality on different mobiles and tablets, as well as offering advice on how the functionality could be improved.
The developers were keen for feedback and wanted ideas and opinions to make sure that the game was responsive and easy to use.
Mindmate Me's are now available on the Mindmate website.
