A new Practice Guidance on Child Exploitation has been developed for practitioners across Leeds who work in roles to support children. This session will introduce the guidance and will cover the main themes of best practice in relation to contextual safeguarding.
The aim of the session is to introduce the guidance, to cover themes around child exploitation and trafficking, including adultification, gender bias and victim blaming language.
It will give an overview of the processes in Leeds focused on responding to and managing exploitation and serious youth violence.
This training session is being offered in line with our LSCP annual priorities.
The session is suitable for all practitioners working with children, young people and their families.
