Overview
If you’re an education, health or social care professional, or you work for any of Leeds Children’s Services partner agencies or charities and would like to learn about the Leeds Practice Model, specifically Rethink Formulation, come along to our one-hour briefing.
Rethink Formulation is a key component to the restorative and relational approach in practice that Leeds is promoting. Formulation refers to the way we understand a family and their needs and experiences and how we use that to inform our practice. It uses an evidence-based model of case formulation to help us organise information and structure our conversations to reach a shared understanding from which to base our plans.
‘Rethinking’ how we work with such cases, with a shared language and deeper analysis, helps us understand why progress isn’t maintained and guides us towards more effective interventions and sustainable outcomes.
This one-hour briefing will be delivered by practitioners from the Rethink Team.
